History
The history of ATEF dates back to 1961 as Baku Dry Type Transformer Plant. The enterprise mainly supplied dry-type distribution transformers to the union republics of the former USSR.
After privatization in 1997, the plant began to upscale and was transformed to ATEF Group of Companies, a large production enterprise with numerous divisions. The Head office is located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
